What is on the CD?

HeartCode ACLS Anywhere contains all the lessons from the ACLS texts as well as convenient references. Providers can renew all the material from start to finish or focus on particular review topics. Users will continue to have access to the cases, the lessons, and the reference material until a total of 32 hours has been used.

Extensive Reference Materials:
With over 20 hours of educational content, HeartCode ACLS contains all the lessons from the ACLS texts conveniently referenced.  Providers can review all of the material from start to finish or focus on the topics they feel they need to spend more time on.  HeartCode ACLS includes all the exams required for successful completion of the ACLS Program:
  1. Static Rhythm Recognition
  2. ACLS Written Exam
  3. AED Simulation
  4. Core Case Simulations

Realistic Patient Scenarios:
HeartCode ACLS now includes micro-simulation technology that improves both the educational content and the user-friendliness of the program.  Providers are presented with realistic patient cases and are required to interact with the program to assess the patient, formulate a treatment plan based on the ACLS algorithms, and effect treatment.  This technology allows the simulated patient to react accordingly to the treatment provided -good or bad- in order to provide a learning experience, not just an evaluation.

Intelligent Debriefing:
Upon the completion of a given scenario, the provider is presented with a detailed debriefing screen.  This debriefing is more than just a list of events ending with a score.  Providers are presented with an account of their actions, calling out both correct and incorrect actions.  Suggestions for improvement are offered and all appropriate reference materials is hyperlinked to the debriefing, allowing immediate remediation at the conclusion of the scenario.

What happens when the computer work is completed?

When all parts of the computer-based work are successfully completed, the student will then go online to record the completion and request the certificates. Two items can be printed online, One item will be printed from the bottom of this page:
