Chesapeake Health Education Program

Local Program Planning

The Best in Local Learning Opportunities

Partnerships work because people share resources and act together toward a common goal. Successful partnerships can be traced to three key ingredients. First, our local educational programs are crafted by the representation of our Board of Directors and affiliates. Second, the staff of the Department of Veterans Affairs supports all local programs and receive the education and readiness needed to serve veterans with quality health care. Finally, a sharing philosophy underlies all that CHEP represents and is integral to each day’s work. Whether a one day program in the local area or a special project to increase the clinical skills of a specific audience or agency, the sharing concept drives local learning opportunities.

The following specialties represent the new competencies required to more adequately provide health care in today’s world. Individual course schedules can be found in the Upcoming Events section of this site.
