Now in its seventh year, CHEP Inc.’s Annual Addictions Conference has established itself as a leading program centered on educating medical professionals working within the realm of addictions.  This is a full-day conference with speakers presenting on timely topics surrounding this epidemic that is plaguing our communities. For the first time, this year we are offering the Annual Addiction Conference as a webinar!

Continuing Education

American Psychological Association (APA) Credits – 6.0 hours
Chesapeake Health Education Program, Inc. is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Chesapeake Health Education Program, Inc. maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners Credits – 6.0 hours
Maryland Social Workers – Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners: “Chesapeake Health Education Program, Inc. is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education programs and maintains full responsibility for this program. This training qualifies for Category 1 continuing education credits.”

National Association for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) Credits – 6.0 hours

National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Credits – 6.0 hours
Certified Counselors – National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC): “Chesapeake Health Education Program, Inc. has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6140. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC are clearly identified. Chesapeake Health Education Program, Inc. is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.”

Evaluation and Certificates

All attendees are required to register their name and email address on the Webex platform and receive an Attention Rating of 90% or higher in order to receive credits. The Attention Rating is calculated automatically through the Webex system and reported to our team at the conclusion of the program. In order to receive the highest rate possible, be sure to stay logged into the training for the duration, do not minimize the training screen, and do not open other screens on top of the training. An evaluation will be emailed to you within two business days of the program’s completion. Once you complete and submit the evaluation, your certificate will automatically generate to be saved or printed.
